I was browsing some other ‘blogs yesterday and found that my Dad’s Christmas sweater has a Yarn Twin. (Dad’s sweater is on the left or on top, depending on your browser settings.)

Prudence’s sweater (photograph appears here with her permission) uses her gorgeous handspun yarn made out of handpainted BFL top from Lisa Souza, whereas mine is made out of blended batts from Grafton Fibers.
The resemblance is downright spooky.

You do nice work, I have bookmarked you for visits. I look forward to seeing your projects unfold. We have fiber animals, goats for mohair, sheep for wool and a bunny for angora.
Comment by Windyridge 11.22.05 @ 2:20 pmNice to see Grafton in action…I now have some gorgeous blue merino from them, and I’m dying to spin it up. First have to spin for a snow tire for the husband, though…getting very, very cold here :-}
Comment by Lee Ann 11.22.05 @ 9:29 pmI know you said it at one time but I am too tired to go back and look :) what stitch pattern did you use for the ribbing on your Dad’s sweater?

That’s funny! The picture from your Saturday entry, down a little, is even more a dead ringer.
Comment by Prudence 11.23.05 @ 8:30 amTooo creepy! There is a third… scroll down my blog archives here: http://thrums.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_thrums_archive.html and see it! Are we all addicted to green fiber?
Comment by Karen 11.23.05 @ 9:49 pmWow, that’s almost spooky! :)
And now I have two more fiber sellers bookmarked. Just what I needed….
That colourway is absolutely gorgeous!
